Ingredients

1 pound orecchiette pasta

1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil

1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar

1 clove garlic, minced

1 pint cherry tomatoes, halved

1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, torn

Salt, to taste

Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Instructions

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the orecchiette and cook until al dente according to package directions. Drain and allow to cool slightly.

In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta, minced garlic, and halved cherry tomatoes. Pour the dressing over the mixture and toss until everything is well coated.

Top with torn basil just before serving.
