Description
- Easy Big Mac Salad delivers classic Big Mac flavor in a bunless, protein-rich bowl—quick, easy, and low-carb.
Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 head iceberg lettuce, thinly sliced
- 16 ounces grape or cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/2 white onion, thinly sliced or chopped
- 1/2 cup sliced dill pickles
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
- 1 tablespoon pickle juice (from pickle jar)
- 2 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add ground beef and season with sea salt. Cook for 7-9 minutes, stirring occasionally, until beef is browned and fully cooked. Drain excess grease if needed.
- While beef cooks, prepare the vegetables: slice lettuce, halve the tomatoes, and slice or chop the onion.
- In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, sweet pickle relish, and pickle juice to make the dressing.
- If not pre-shredded, shred the cheddar cheese.
- In a large serving bowl or individual plates, layer the lettuce, tomatoes, and onion. Add the cooked beef on top.
- Drizzle with the dressing, sprinkle with sliced pickles and cheddar cheese.
- Garnish with a few sesame seeds for that classic burger touch.
