  • Author: Cindy
  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4–6 servings

Description

A simple skillet meal with tender steak, golden potatoes, garlic butter, and fresh herbs cooked in one pan.

Ingredients

1 pound new potatoes, halved

1 tablespoon chopped fresh rosemary

1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves

5 cloves garlic, minced (divided)

2 tablespoons clarified butter (ghee)

1.5 pounds top sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes

Salt and black pepper, to taste

Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

1. Combine potatoes with rosemary, thyme, and 3 cloves garlic. Season and toss.

2. Season steak cubes with salt and pepper.

3. Heat skillet over medium-high heat. Add 1 tablespoon ghee and 2 cloves garlic. Sear steak for about 3 minutes. Remove and set aside.

4. Reduce heat to medium. Add remaining ghee and potatoes. Cook 10–15 minutes until tender and browned.

5. Return steak to skillet and cook 1–2 minutes until warmed through.

6. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Notes

For best results, avoid overcrowding the skillet and allow the steak to sear quickly.
