Description

A light and flavorful baked white fish recipe made with lemon, fresh dill, garlic, and butter. This easy seafood dinner is ready in under 30 minutes and delivers bright citrus flavor with tender flaky fish.

Ingredients

2024 ounces tilapia fillets or any mild white fish

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 tablespoon lemon dill seasoning blend

¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped

1 tablespoon fresh Italian parsley, chopped

Lemon slices (optional)

2 tablespoons freshly grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Salt, to taste

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 400°F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Pat the fish fillets dry with paper towels and place them on the prepared baking sheet.

3. In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Stir in the minced garlic, lemon dill seasoning blend, black pepper, and chopped dill.

4. Brush the butter mixture evenly over each fillet.

5. Bake for 10–15 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork at the thickest part and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F.

6. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley. Add lemon slices and a light sprinkle of Parmesan cheese if desired.

7. Taste before adding salt, as seasoning blends may already contain salt. Serve immediately.

Notes

You can substitute tilapia with cod, haddock, or pollock.

Pat the fish dry before seasoning to help the butter mixture adhere better.

Do not overcook the fish to keep it moist and tender.
