1 tablespoon canola oil

1 pound lean ground beef

1 medium onion, chopped

2 cups water

1 cup ketchup

1 tablespoon yellow mustard

2 cups instant white rice

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and onion and cook until browned.

2. Stir in water, ketchup, and mustard. Bring to a boil.

3. Add rice and sprinkle cheese on top. Cover and simmer on medium-low for 5 minutes.

4. Remove from heat, rest 5 minutes, then stir and serve.
