A bright and easy one-pan pasta made with lemon, garlic, butter, and Parmesan. Perfect for quick weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

1 pound uncooked linguine

1/4 cup butter, divided

1 tablespoon minced garlic

Juice and zest of 1 lemon

Salt and black pepper to taste

2 tablespoons chopped fresh herbs

1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

4 cups water

Instructions

1. Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a large skillet over medium heat and sauté garlic until fragrant.

2. Add water, uncooked linguine, remaining butter, lemon juice, zest, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil.

3. Reduce heat and cook, stirring often, until pasta is tender and liquid reduces.

4. Remove from heat and stir in Parmesan and herbs.

5. Serve warm with remaining cheese and lemon.

Notes

Add extra hot water if the pan dries out before the pasta is tender. Adjust lemon and cheese to taste.
