For the Meatballs:

1 pound ground beef

1/2 cup almond flour or mashed potatoes

1 large egg

1 tablespoon minced garlic

1 tablespoon coconut aminos

1 tablespoon dried minced onion

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

For the Gravy:

1 1/2 teaspoons olive oil

1/4 medium yellow onion, thinly sliced

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to broil or air fryer to 375°F.

2. Combine all meatball ingredients gently in a bowl.

7. Cook until thickened.

8. Pour gravy over meatballs and serve.

Notes

Mashed potatoes work well as a nut-free binder. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to three days.
