Description
A simple one-pan sausage and peppers skillet made with poultry sausage, bell peppers, and onions.
Ingredients
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 pound fully cooked poultry sausage, sliced
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
3 bell peppers, sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and brown sausage for 8–10 minutes.
2. Remove sausage and sauté onions for 2–3 minutes.
3. Add bell peppers and cook 5–7 minutes until tender.
4. Stir in garlic and cook 1 minute.
5. Return sausage, season, and serve.
Notes
Use any color bell peppers. Adjust seasoning based on sausage saltiness.
