Description
Creamy shrimp Alfredo pasta made with tender shrimp, rich Parmesan sauce, and perfectly cooked fettuccine.
Ingredients
1/2 lb medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/2 lb fettuccine pasta
2 tablespoons butter, divided
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup heavy cream
3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
1. Season shrimp lightly with salt and pepper.
2. Cook fettuccine in boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water and drain.
3. Melt 1 tablespoon butter in skillet and cook shrimp 1–2 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
4. Add remaining butter and garlic. Cook until fragrant.
5. Pour in cream and simmer gently.
6. Whisk in Parmesan until smooth.
7. Return pasta and shrimp to skillet and toss. Add pasta water if needed.
8. Adjust seasoning, garnish, and serve.
Notes
Do not overcook shrimp. Reheat gently with added cream if needed.
